Refund Policy.
This policy explains how refunds work at JobCurrent and how our 30-day results guarantee operates. We believe in standing behind our work, and we believe in being transparent about exactly what that means — so there are no surprises later.
Who this policy applies to
This Refund Policy applies to all paying customers of JobCurrent and forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
The 30-day results guarantee
We stand behind the Service with a results-based guarantee. If, during your first 30 calendar days as an active customer, JobCurrent does not generate at least:
- Five (5) qualified job conversations, OR
- Two (2) booked jobs,
...we will continue providing the Service at no additional cost until one of those thresholds is met. Reaching either threshold satisfies the guarantee.
The guarantee is not a cash-back guarantee. Implementation and ongoing fees paid during the guarantee period are not refunded simply because the threshold has not yet been met; instead, the remedy is continued service at no additional cost.
What counts as a qualified conversation or booked job
Qualified job conversation.
A "qualified job conversation" means a two-way exchange (text, chat, or otherwise) generated through the Service in which an end user:
- Indicates a current need for a service in your trade and service area;
- Provides at least their name and a callback method (phone or email); and
- Is not clearly spam, a robocall, a wrong number, or a current customer of yours contacting you about an existing job.
Booked job.
A "booked job" means an appointment scheduled into your CRM or calendar through the Service for an end user matching the qualified-conversation criteria above. A booked job counts toward the threshold whether or not the end user ultimately completes the appointment, pays for the service, or signs a contract.
Conditions of the guarantee
For the guarantee to apply, you must:
- Complete onboarding within the timeframe we agree on (typically 7–10 business days from kickoff). Delays caused by your team — for example, not providing access to your phone system, CRM, or website — pause the guarantee period.
- Keep the Service active and configured as we recommend during the entire 30-day period. Removing the chat widget, disconnecting integrations, or pausing the missed-call text-back disqualifies the period.
- Continue receiving call traffic at typical volumes for your business. The guarantee assumes your business is generating inbound calls and website visits during the period; we cannot manufacture leads where none exist.
- Provide reasonable cooperation with optimization requests (e.g., reviewing transcripts, approving messaging tweaks).
How to claim the guarantee
If at the end of your first 30 days you believe the guarantee threshold has not been met, email info@getjobcurrent.com within 7 days of the period ending with the subject line "Guarantee claim" and your business name. We will:
- Review the conversations and bookings logged in the Service during your guarantee period.
- Confirm in writing whether the threshold was met.
- If the threshold was not met and the conditions in section 4 were satisfied, extend continued service at no additional cost until the threshold is met. The extension is provided as ongoing service, not as a refund of fees already paid.
When fees may be refunded
Although fees are generally non-refundable, we will issue refunds in the following narrow cases:
- Duplicate or erroneous charges. If we charge you twice for the same period or charge you in error, we will refund the duplicate or erroneous amount.
- Implementation never delivered. If you paid the implementation fee and we are unable to deliver an operational installation within 30 days of payment due to a fault on our side (and not due to your delay or unavailability), we will refund the implementation fee on request.
- Where required by law. If applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires us to issue a refund, we will comply.
When fees are not refunded
We do not issue refunds in any of the following circumstances:
- Cancellation during your Initial Term. Fees for all remaining 4-week billing periods in the Initial Term are due as the Early Termination Fee, and previously paid fees within the Initial Term are not refunded.
- Cancellation mid-billing-period. Recurring fees cover the full 4-week period and are not pro-rated on cancellation.
- Underuse of the Service after launch (e.g., you decided not to follow up on conversations or did not adopt the workflows we delivered).
- Loss of business that you attribute to factors outside the Service — including changes in your call volume, ad spend, or local market conditions.
- Disagreement about messaging style, intake question wording, or other configuration choices once they have been delivered to your specifications, accepted, and put into production.
- Violations of our Terms of Service that resulted in suspension or termination of the Service.
Chargebacks & disputes
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at info@getjobcurrent.com — we resolve nearly all billing issues within 1–2 business days. Initiating a chargeback with your card issuer without first contacting us may result in suspension of the Service while we respond to the chargeback. Chargebacks filed in bad faith — for charges you authorized and benefited from — may result in collection costs being added to the disputed amount as permitted by law.
Cancellation
Your subscription includes an Initial Term commitment set forth in your Order, after which the subscription continues month-to-month until cancelled. To cancel, email info@getjobcurrent.com at least one full business day before your next billing date.
If you cancel during your Initial Term, an Early Termination Fee equal to the recurring fees for all remaining 4-week billing periods in your Initial Term applies. If you cancel during a month-to-month renewal, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 4-week billing cycle. Previously paid amounts are not refunded except as described above.
